How we work

Three principles guide every project we run.

1

We plan carefully

Field assessments come first. We identify the most vulnerable families and regions before a single shilling is spent.

2

We are on the ground

Our own teams deliver the aid, so donations reach people directly and each distribution is documented.

3

We report back

Donors receive photos, videos and updates. Transparency is how trust is built.

Frequently asked questions

When should Fidya be given?

Fidya can be paid at the start of Ramadan, during the month or after it ends, for each fast that cannot be made up. It is distributed as food to families in need.

What can I do as a volunteer?

Volunteers help with distributions, field visits, photography, translation, social media and office work. Tell us your skills on the volunteer page and we'll find the right role.

Can Zakat be paid in instalments?

Zakat is due as soon as its time comes and is best paid at once, but if that is not possible it can be paid in parts within the same year. Contact us if you'd like guidance.

Will I receive proof of my Qurbani?

Yes. Every Qurbani donor receives photos or video of the sacrifice and distribution.

How do I know my donation reached its destination?

Our own teams carry out every distribution and document it. Donors receive updates by e-mail and on our media page.

Can I sponsor a water well in someone's name?

Yes. A plaque with the chosen name is placed at the well and you receive photos of the completed well.
